Creators often weren't sure what brands could do with their videos. Euka now has platform-level terms that answer it in one line for each type of deal. These are the minimum protections for creators, and you can add your own terms on top as long as they give creators more.
- Flat fee deals, like retainers: a full buyout once you pay. You can use the video in any ads or marketing, on any platform, with no end date unless you set one. Rights start when you pay for the video, not when it's approved.
- Commission deals, like the Meta Ads program: Meta ads only, for as long as you keep paying. Rights end if payment is 14 or more days late, if the creator leaves, or if you end the program.
- Contests: contest videos can't be used in ads for now.
Existing deals keep the terms creators agreed to at the time. Learn more in the Usage rights help article.
